Materials

Rolex Sky-Dweller is available in both two-tone as well as solid materials. You can get the watch in either Yellow Gold or Everose Gold. Using a Sky-Dweller

At first glance, the Sky-Dweller looks like any of the standard Rolex watches on the surface. But upon a closer look, one can tell that is the most unconventional and complicated watch from the house of Rolex. The timepiece uses Rolex’s emblematic fluted bezel and the Oyster case. It has many unique features and there are distinct ways to use those features.

Setting the reference time

With the innovative Ring Command System, it has been made easier to set different things on the Sky-Dweller. In order to set the reference time, you first have to unscrew the crown and pull it out to the first notch. Then, you have to rotate the bezel counterclockwise as far as it will go to the third position. Now, you can turn the crown in either direction to set the desired time on the minute hand and the 24-hour disc.

Setting the local time

From there, you have to put the bezel into the second position. Once done, you can start rotating the crown and adjust the jumping hour hand. Notably, the minute hand will not move during this process.

Setting the date and month

Lastly, you can set the date and the month by putting the bezel in position one. You can then start rotating the crown until the current month and date are displayed. For your reference, the month of January will be displayed on the aperture next to the 1 o’clock hour marker. Similarly, February will be shown on the 2 o’clock hour marker and so on.
